While many islamic nations gov say nothing, the same can't be said about their clerics and the islamic organizations in their countries. Frankly, this is one of the weaknesses if not the achiless heel of Chinese foreign policy. China focus too much on keeping good relationship with gov and ruling regime only, not enough effort spend on cultivating relationship with the legislative, oppositions and the grass roots organizations, not to mention with the population in other countries. I know this is mainly because the Chinese believe in non intervention policy, but it leave China exposed to political upheavel, like the one we witnessed in myanmar. Every time there is a regime change or new gov from different party won an election, China has to restart the process of cultivating again, and hoping that the new regime won't be antagonistic, as we can see in Brazil. The same can easily happen in islamic nations.
