Just some update on the 054/054A class with a little introduction to the class that keep going and going.

The PLAN frigate 053H are all going into retirement, even those newer ships after their upgrade.

After France sold Lafayette to ROC, which is known as Kangding class in Taiwan.

PLAN begin to modernize its frigates. 054/054A is a new class of stealthy PLAN frigates that will succeed the 053H class.

It's clearly said to target Lafayette as reference in its design. It was the first warship designed with stealthy features in PLAN.

After two 054 was built equipped with HHQ-7, the subsequent 054A introduced the VLS that launch HHQ-16 and Yu-8, a major change from the 054.
