As for whether will there be corvette replacement, have to wait until current order of twenty 054A fulfilled and see what PLAN will order for the next batch. Small platform will remain to operate within green water, but I doubt PLAN want to expand from current level, which means any replacement have to wait until 056 start retirement. OTOH, PLAN is expanding on blue water capability, current level may be 1/3 to 1/2 of what it want to be by 2035 to 2049. It used to be 056 + 054 + 052D combo, but now it's replaced by 054 + 052D + 055 combo. The navy that's gonna to see an expansion of small platform is Taiwan.
