Really? I was in Chiang Mai with my family just a while ago and I didn't see any white pure blooded Thais. I saw Thai Chinese who are the affluent ones owning businesses, I saw Miao tribespeople which are closer to Han Chinese in terms of look and pure blooded Thai who are generally darker in skin color and Malay looking. I entered Southern Thai from Northern Malaysia in 2002 and I didn't see any tall dark Thais. All I saw are more Malay looking types albeit Muslims ones.
You have to understand here. When I say pure blooded Lao or Thai I meant the real Thai and Lao tribe like the Khmer and the Viets. They are all Malayo-Polynesian types just like the native people in Taiwan, the Filipinos, the Indonesians and such.
So, please answer my question. Why did you pass North East Asian types as pure blooded Laotians? I would be ashamed to pass half whites as pure blooded Chinese.
