With Islam, it is difficult to separate politics and religion, because they are the same for muslims. Just look at what their ulamas are preaching, many of them are political stuffs. There is a reason why they want to revive Caliphate. I'm not saying all muslims are radicals that seek to revive Caliphate, but it is hard to separate them.

Terrorism abruptly stopped after 2016 because the Chinese gov stomped them with full security measures. Just like what happened in HK. Chinese gov also started to crack down on religious activities that are front for spreading radicalism. That's what the "schools" are for.

My point is, if we focus on stopping the US from pouring oil, we may miss the fire. Putting out the fire is more important than just stopping the US from pouring oil. If there is no fire, it doesn't matter what the US want to do.
