far more than religiously motivated. China wasted too much time and lives trying to solve the problem from the religious and economic perspective. How did the terrorism abruptly stopped after 2016? It's not because there're no data after that, it's because there're no terror attack after that. That's hitting the nail at the head. Just like HK, it's not an issue of economic or freedom, it's a political problem.
