The Americans are decreasing in power, relatively speaking for sure. In an absolute sense, maybe not, but then again income for the average American worker been stagnant for 30 years while things have gone up in price.

For the average American worker, their decline may be absolute.

Whatever happens next, we got to wait until the Americans get their act together.

Currently they are in disarray. Three ways, could be more, and the severity can vary.

1) The economy is in disarray. They have to print money to stay afloat. How long will this last and can they avoid bad outcomes are real unknowns. If they cannot avoid a bad outcome, historically it usually leads to bad outcomes, then American decline is absolute, not just relative.

2. The politics is in disarray. Internal American politics ebbs and flows. With President Trump it was hilarious! It was so entertaining. He represented one side of the aisle, now the other side of the aisle has their turn with Biden. No one is ever satisfied and want to torpedo anything and everything the other side does. They spend more time fighting each other than actually do anything. This they have to correct to get the country moving forwards again.

3. The strategic outlook is in disarray. The Americans have abandoned their old China strategy. However, they have not replaced it with a new China strategy. It has been a few years now, lol. Since China is the second most important country in the world, that means the American have no strategy for the world.

Until the Americans get their act together, we got to wait for that to happen, then we can reassess the situation.

When will the Americans can get their act together? Who knows.
