More like Jashankar based his strategies on delusions than calculated risk.  India has nothing to offer other than goodwill for an effective China policy.  A goodwill of strategic win-win cooperation to counter Western hegemonic monopoly on the world's economy is actually for India's best interests.  China can always go it alone.
