Shenzhen neighboring HK has been limiting the number of entries from HK amid the outbreak there and HKer smuggling into SZ causing local spread. SH volunteered to take in those HK entries SZ rejected. The stupid a$$ SH bueracrat quarantine them in an old hotel with centralized air conditioning system, causing it to spread to all personnel there, and then outside. This is very similar to how Delta spread throughout Vietnam depsite their earlier success.SZ is able to contain the spread and has unlock already. The central CDC is applying the same approach to SH, testing all 28.6 million people. Samples already taken by 9 AM at a rate of 70,000 samples per minute, and first round result expected to be obtained by 5 PM. Positive cases will be sent to make shift hospital for quarantine.
