I sympathize. I have not been the victim of a hate crime, ever. I have experienced racism, the usual microaggressive hard-to-prove kind, and I've lived in all sorts of hick places like Iowa and Michigan. But I guess according to you I'm one of the lucky few? ROFLMAO

Plus your point here is what, exactly? Are you REALLY trying to claim that "nearly every" Chinese American has been the victim of a hate crime? If by hate crime you are willing to spindoctor down to the level of being called a "Ch1naman" or some other racial epithet, I guess you could spin your way to "nearly every".
