and 2nd stage seperation like the yank Saturn 1 rocket.

For the chinese CZ 5b, the wrapped on boosters are more like the 1st stage and the core is both  1st and 2nd stage. Because of the low payload, the core managed to reach orbital speed at low orbit. Being low orbit means there's still a small amount of air resistance which dragged the empty tank back to earth after a few days.
