In terms of culture,chinese have changed a lot,like costome, ideology... One can say f**k confucius anywhere in china except might be his home town without drawing a mob.'Civilisationally' old china no more.

The 'civilisations' that perished could be grouped into types

1)Isolated geographically --like aztec,

2)Overwhelmed--like dravidian indus valley

3)Static--pharaonic
