Various and rigorous scientific research has already validated some TCM such as acupuncture as well as isolated the effective chemicals in many TCM herbals such as artemisinin for malaria, arsenic trioxide and other compounds useful in the treatment of cancer, etc. Just because you don't know about any of them doesn't mean they don't exist or are ineffective. I don't give a blanket pass to all or even most TCM meds and treatments, but it is certainly gratuitously stupid to condemn all aspects of TCM when at least some of it has already passed modern medical scrutiny. It is most definitely beneficial to continue probing TCM with modern scientific techniques and continue to tease out the actually medically beneficial compounds used in TCM.Secondly, as far as "all the IQ crap" goes, you WEREN'T talking about a hundred years ago in opium-addicted China. Your exact words were "it should be self-evident that whites are smarter that Chinese." As in right this minute, in today's world. So don't play this game and try to weasel out of your words here. That quote right there seems to sum up exactly how much you must hate yourself every time you look in the mirror. Third, even if you WERE talking about a hundred years ago in opium-addicted China, your example of opium addiction is ridiculously nonsensical. What does opium addiction have anything to do with "IQ"? Nothing. Perhaps you don't understand what addiction is but it does not discriminate based on IQ. Nor did the Brits who forced an entire generation of Chinese to become addicted at gunpoint discriminate based on IQ. And if we shouldn't be talking about "previous achievements", we shouldn't stupidly be talking about previous failures either, now should we? So why are you?
