I know well about addiction, stop trying to deflect from the fact that the British did not force opium onto Chinese people! The Chinese themselves first became addicted without a single British gunboat, it was only when the Qing government attempted to ban the opium trade that the British launched the Opium Wars.

As for whites being smarter than Chinese, I ask you who invented the modern world. China's impending resurgence may change this, but the country has to somehow first purge itself of irrational backward thinking (which the West itself could have done better at: see creationism, homeopathy, GMO/Jewish/fluoride/organic food/antivaxxer conspiracies, etc.) without becoming arrogantly complacent like late Qing China or the current West/US.
