Since the Pan Green Party won the election, I wonder how relations between Taiwan and PRC will play out in the coming years. I understand the political significance to China but Taiwan has already been succesful in governing itself for decades.  Don't you think the People's Republic will one day let go as far as re-unification is concerned?  I highly doubt there will be any impact on China's power and influence if Taiwan keeps refusing to reunify.
