Three engine with unconventional nozzle, could be TVC. All round stealth to penetrate hostile area. Three engine probably allow it to carry heavy load while supercruise at high speed. Rumor max take off weight at 60 ton. Three WS15 at 17 ton max thrust each will give it max thrust of 51 ton.

Some speculation, self explanatory. Side facing dual band AESA, high importance attached to passive IR. Two side facing AESA should give it much wider coverage than just a front facing radar. Length 22 m vs J-20 21.3 m. Weapon bay 7 x 4.2 m vs J-20 4.2 x 2.1 m, significantly larger. It can carry large size missiles such as PL-17 internally, probably other strike missiles as well. It may not be able to carry PL-15 back to back, but it can carry more side by side. Maybe with zig zag arrangement it can.carry more back to back.
