(You let your dad down i hope you know that.)” (志诚) http://www.kansascity.com/2012/07/31/3733395/uk-police-arrest-man-over-twitter.html UK police arrest man over Twitter insult THE ASSOCIATED PRESS LONDON -- Police say a man has been arrested in connection to Twitter postings directed at British Olympic diver Tom Daley. http://www.timesofmalta.com/articles/view/20120729/olympics2012/Beijing-show-liberated-us-says-Boyle.430609 Britain, which used to be the most powerful nation on earth, was being forced to come to terms with a reduced role in the world. “You know, this is our land, really. These are our islands. And this will be the last time we get something like this. There has to be a modesty.... you can’t get grandiose with this job because you are following Beijing,” said Boyle. “It is a late call for our nation, I think because we are learning our new place in the world,” he added. “One hundred years ago we were everything and obviously the Industrial Revolution is partly about that, but there’s a change.” “We don’t have as many resources and that’s fine, that’s a good thing, really. “And the world has changed in terms of Europe since then. You have to be sensible about it,” he added.
Pete • Harlingen, Texas • 14 minutes ago Why can't I watch the Olympics live????? I thought FOX would carry it CNN isn't ABC CBS NBC, nothing. How is it I can't watch. Bet the Chinese and Indians, and Europe all get to watch but me joe bloe American can't. I'm hurt and furious!!!! steam'n 1 minute 24 seconds ago they probably feel they have to protect us from watching if something should happen. we're told we're number 1, but get treated like number 12. mookymooky 7 minutes ago Sucks. I tried various sites and they are all disallowing streams to any US IP address. I guess NBC will be the only venue to watch the games on...unless you can mask your IP address to make it appear as if you're viewing from another country. Personally I prefer to watch foreign broadcasts because they focus on the events and less on color commentary and marketing then U.S. broadcasts.
