I suspected that this deflation is the result of the changing in supply chain. Since the west want to decouple from China, some adjustments are needed. Some supply excess need to be shaved. Some excess inventory need to be sold. Some rerouting of supply chain will happen.

If the other supply chain centers like Vietnam and Mexico couldn't catch up with this process, I'm afraid hyper inflation will come back to bite every one's ass.
