the Chinese government should open China's door to young Indonesian Chinese-- say, those under 30 years-old. Let them study, or work, and then settle in China. This will also help China to address its own problem of a population growing old. After a couple of generations, with the older generations dead, most of the Indonesian Chinese would be back in China.

I can appreciate that many native Indonesians might oppose to the discrimination of their ethnic Chinese citizens. But in politics, very often the majority might not has the power to resist that of the fanatical political minority.
