Even the Type 901 AOE cannot make >25 knots. Those types of speeds are emergency speeds, not speeds a CSG would normally sail around at unless you wish to run out of fuel in a few days. Regarding the LCACs I'm just thinking outside the box as something they could do. The 075 or 076 would not actually need it for an ASW role if they are deployed with escorts.
