During pandemic people don't necessarily die by the Covid, some died "with" Covid, some died months after having Covid. For example, the recent death of Julie Powell, a somewhat well known writer in NY, contracted Covid from her husband, and twitted her ordeal until her death on Oct 26. Her doctor said it was no big deal, so she and her husband thought so. In the end, she died of heart attack at the age of 49. A heart problem induced by her Covid illness, very similar to the Australian immunologist Chris Goodnow's experience. She was a healthy person with no pre-medical condition nor chronic illness. Would her death be counted as a Covid death? Would Prince Phillip and QE's death two and six months after Covid positive?

In her last three twits, she complained of developing BHT, a symptom said to be common among death with Covid.

I think many excess death during the pandemic aren't accounted as Covid death. The recent Q3 2022 earning call by US funeral service company SCI, their CEO Thomas Ryan revealed that before the pandeic, their business was very stable and predictable. In 2019 and before, +1% or 2% during severe flu season, -1 or 2% in non-flu season. 2020 and onwards it jump by 20%. In 2022 after Biden declared the pandemic is over, they unexpectedly still see 15% higher excess death compared to 2019 when they thought it would fall back to 2019 level. Now they think it might not go back to 2019 level any time soon.

In China's case, if somebody is trying to pull a SH, it'll have serious consequences that make HK, TW, SK and Japan pale in comparison. I suspect there is a target date of Mar 2023, but a crisis could happen around CNY next year. In SH, the number are artificially kept low, if you've fever, sore throat, cough, but didn't do CT scan and confirmed with white lung, you're asymptomatic. If you've chronic disease you don't die by Covid. Today China is reporting more than 20 K Covid cases with 1,568 symptomatic and 18,491 asymptomatic for the first time. This is just a single day, and it'll keep increasing if nothing is done about it. And if someone is scheming, I won't be surprised by the sudden appearance of more deadlier Covid strain.

After SH outbreak has been suppressed, it's clear that the cases started to rise again significantly after the Protocol for Prevention and Control of Covid edition 9 was published by state department, which keep on loosening travel restrictions, waive requirement for Covid test and report, waive application for new visa for entry into China, cut traveler's quarantine time etc. With the recent "optimized" Covid measure, it's clear from visibly fast rising daily new cases that the state department is NOT implementing zero Covid, these swindlers are doing the opposite.
