there's only 16 Himars shipped to Ukraine, 8 claimed to have destroyed by Russian, compared to about 90 M777 shipped to Ukraine. US said they won't be shipping additional Himars to Ukraine, only ammunition. If they're not deployed to Donbass region, where Russian are making small incremental advance, instead deployed to the south, they're unlikely to be captured by Russian, because Russian is holding in the south.The recent attack at the airfield in Saky was, as Russian said, carried out by sabotage, probably SBU infiltration, not by Himars because the airfield is 200 km from the front line beyond the Himars range.
The Russian did exhibit the Bayraktar assembled from parts taken from wreckage.
