..for China too overreact/wrongly react-seeing that Russia is in a long grinding war in Ukraine the West wants China's massive economic and military strengthening to be stalled or stopped by a badly thought out campaign in Taiwan-China is also too powerful to be sabotaged except by her own imprudent stupid moves.A militarily faltering China would embolden greatly not only West/USA but revitalize a predatory Japan ,Australia(deputy sheriff) and even the cowardly Indianshoping to strike when it senses no danger from China.Also the Taiwanese independence mov't(i.e Japan) could dream of finally winning the Chinese civil war and regain the mainland and Tokyo could rule China via puppet Taiwan proxy-nightmare hell yes.That is why Beijing has to be cautious yet bold but most importantly very smart.Xiangqi-Chinese chess thinking -which most westerners don't even know exist is paramount.And keep building and accelerating on all fronts.
