Russian troops already DID "get killed" trying to take over Kharkiv, and they have withdrawn in defeat just as they did in Kiev, and Chernihiv, and Sumy. All major cities that Russia thought they could easily defeat early on in the war, and were badly beaten back. Were those cities "diversions" also? LOL
