From there I watched the Sovs arrive, then the 052B taking shape in photos, then hearing rumors of the 052C, then seeing it built while simultaneously feeling disappointment at the (also new) 051C class, then the 052D, and now the 055. With each new destroyer class I felt finally China had arrived in the world, only to feel it once again as the next bigger, newer, and better class superseded it. Now I'm looking forward to the "052E" and "055A" (if there are such designs) along with the "054B/057" and "095". You just can't be disappointed when you're a Chinese naval watcher....
