Gun culture and conceal & carry, C&C are mostly in Red states.  On top of that "Stand your Ground" laws are more lenient in these Red states and non-existence in Blue states.  In urban Blue states, there are bylaws that control the possession of firearms and C&C which is usually approved by the county police department is very strict.  Usually only given to professionals such as armored truck and high risk security personnel.  

Asians own a lot of firearms. The Castle Doctrine which says you have the right to protect yourself from harm in your home is available in all states. On the other hand, the "Stand Your  Ground" law is not available to all states other than most Red states.  "Stand Your Ground" means you can protect yourself anywhere should you believe threats to your life and bodily harm by all means inckuding using firearms.
