With the rise of China and the east, the aggressive Russians, the onslaught of refugees coming to European shores, the young Europeans probably feel at best insecure, at worst terrified. They look at their own leadership and see them as weak. So they look across Atlantic and see that America is probably their savior, forgeting that they wouldn't even in these mess in the first place if not for America wars. The same probably happen in Australia, for the first time in their history, Asians are taking back the dominance in the region. It must be extremely uncomfortable for the whites, that's why they throw their support on US.
