Biden isn't going to bring back the relationship to pre Trump era. Not only it is a political suicide for him, but America perception of China has changed completely. Now America is seeing China as the greatest threat to its supremacy. Sure, America will work with China on climate change, and on trade because it is beneficial for both and the survivability of both depend on it. But whenever it can, America will block China from achieving its goal, like in tech. I expect the relationship will continue to be tense and grow worse over time. All those cooperation in climate change won't do much to improve the relationship. China understand that clearly, why else do you think Xi is doing what Xi is doing today. He is preparing China for future competition. Now whether Xi's way is correct or not, only time can tell. It is the same with what Biden is doing.
