To be precise, the interviewer asked him, based on his personal opinion, what should be the form of the TVC on J-20, then he answered it should be 2D. The thing to be sure is TVC, hints are everywhere including from J-20 designer.As for WS15, time will tell. WS10 TVC is the first gen TVC for development purpose before WS15 is ready. Demonstrated 3 years ago when J-20 was performing WS10C test flight, but it's obvious that J-20 didn’t adopt WS10 TVC back then. As of now, WS10 TVC doesn’t have application whether in third or fourth gen fighter.
