I have seen Indians and Whites on Youtube articulate favorable China position in ways that people outside the Sino-sphere can relate to.  

Being a spokesperson for Foreign Affairs, Zhao should take a position that is non-confrontational and play the audience.  Any policies can be delivered with sophistication.  If he is playing for the domestic audience, it is very short sighted.

The same with the military parade during National day.  Why?  It is so outdated.  I woud just celebrate the civilizational achievements throught art and music.
