Sorry to say, it is very much from the yanks' view.  Comparision of rich and poor is not an indicator as how the citizens feel. It is a measuring stick in the west especillay the US.  In China, the ordinary people's purchasing power has increased, ther education systems cover nearly all parts of China. The elimination of poverty is a cornerstone of how the CCP looks after its people.  Sure China is ageing.  But the latest is that the govcerment now encourage people to have three children. Look at the scientic achievements' the Chgina Space Stationj, with the cargoship automatically docks with the core module. This feast the West has yet to achieve.  The CSS will operate in 2022 when the ISS [so called?] is falling out of the skies. The quantum computer. The fission machine that generates the longest 120 seconds in millions of degrees. The network of high speed trains, the FAST radio telescope, the only in the world.  The fastest computers in the world.  The shipbuilding industries,,,,,   Best take a good look at yourself, then you;ll realise your true self.  Ugly!
