What we are talking about is adaption by other parties.

People like Iran and Russia, they could adapt the DCEP as one form of payment due to necessity.

Other countries, it might come down to a question of wide accessibility and convenience.

I think that is the real goal here, the CCP trying to make China as big as possible, so the outcome is unavoidable.

I read this article, and it made me so annoyed. After half an hour, I realized why I was annoyed, because it so nuts.

Xi’s China can’t seem to stop scoring own goals

If we look on a map, seems to me in terms of economic activity, China has India surrounded. Perhaps there is a military angle there as well, but economically and technologically, Chinese influence is expanding in leaps and bounds with those BRI projects in countries all around India. China is everywhere around India and gaining influence.

Basically Chinese influence in countries near India has surrounded India, and Fareed Zakaria who is an Indian can only talk about how China is scoring own goals.

Unbelievable.

I think that is the strategy to widespread adaptation of the DCEP outside of China.

Adaption of DCEP is a secondary thought.

The main thought seems to be to make China as ubiquitous as possible, through mainly economic, technological, diplomatic advancement. If China can do all three in such regions, then the DCEP will naturally come to others.
