The more advances china made, the more panicky they became....As I said b4, hindus have poor sense of planning and prioritization of objectives, so their reaction would be buying more russ or western toys to claim they've ''edge'' if not superiority over china.... So as a result, because of budget limitation, they would skip many important components of mil R&D which we all know would take decades to mature(besides the hindu mil manpower number is swelling). If they said they'll research on certain hi-sounding items, often these are just PR facade. What else one can explain whyTF they still import AK rifles from the russ?

A good example, china is still working very hard to narrow the gap of PAN fibre making which the japanese are the tech leader...while the hindus brag how much composite materials their LCA has
