What those articles say above is correct, in that TikTok is primarily a content creator. Youtube is also that, but TikTok is far easier to create content with. Hence, that gives it a big advantage.
There was some TikTok in this video, and we can tell how much effort was needed to produce the video, but that TikTok sequences near the end were just as effective and far less work.
