What I meant was India's too poor and they are buying low quality products from Mom&Pop manufacturers with almost zero QC in China. The more established manufacturers in China are making good products and in many ways better than Western manufacturers. Their prices tend to be in the middle of the road but still cheaper than what are manufactured in the West . Also the emerging Chinese brand giants are actually pioneers in the next generation products. India can;t afford them just like they can't afford Apple products.
India always buy the bottom of the barrel stuff. Just like the poor in the US. Then they complain about the quality of Chinese products.
In a way, it is good because these people walk around with a sense of misguided superiority while other people are zooming past them.
