Non of the equipments on Liaoning is from the original Varyag, including the propulsion, not to mention the sonar. The propulsion was removed so were the rest, the hull towed back was empty. Whatever installed in CV 16 would make it to 17, unless it’s an upgrade such as the phased array radar.
