Chinese don't do that. Not deliberately. Eat like that too much noise, people think you are cow or something.

It is the anti-social behaviour that should be toned down.

People would piss in the elevator.

After trying to improve living standards, giving people apartments to live in, better than what they ever had before in the 1960's & 1970's, first thing they would do the people is piss in the elevator.

Of course, strong man Lee was disappointed. They had to stop this kind of anti-social behaviour with more education.

So the next thing they did was put a sign in the elevator, asking people not to piss in the elevator.

Since that, we can guess, did not work, now the sign threatens penalties such as a fine if you are pissing in the elevator.

Of course that did not work either.

Finally, technology invented the camera inside the elevator, so now they can stop people from pissing in the elevator. They will record who do this.

This will work. It did initially. But people still pissed in the elevator.

When the reviewed the tape to see who did it so they can be arrested, what they saw was someone opening the elevator on that floor, the door with open, and the guy would stand outside of the elevator and piss into it and all the tape shows is a stream of pissing coming into the elevator but no person.

That taught strongman Lee an important lesson. Even though many people improved themselves, not everyone will buy into the program. The only way to stop everyone from pissing in the elevator is education of the next generation. Eventually that will work, and it will stop.
