were picked on at schools due to language disadvantage.  Vietnamese were mostly the victims being bullied by American born Mexicans. I had never heard them being picked on by blacks or white.  Later, I learned that Asians in other states such as New York, Chicago, and in many states were called racial slurs not only at schools but even at the bus stops or on the streets.  Those Asians were so scared of the law and swallowed hurtful comments. Or they would say they would not lower themselves to that level.  So to me it was and it is fvcking bullshit. Back in the days when I was really struggling financially so I rented a one bed room in a low income apartment called Turnleaf Appartment Homes on Hamilton Ave San Jose and there were so many blacks and Mexicans living there and a few Vietnamese families.  Almost every day a car blocked the drive way to a designated parking carport with emergency lights flashing.  It was a friend or friends of tenants, so when you came home you had to wait and honk and hope that someone would hear and move the car out of the driveway so you can go park your car.  I had witnessed one Vietnamese lady in her 30s sat in her van powelessly looked agitated because a car blocked the driveway and every day she had to deal with this problem.  She just rammed into that car, bakced up and rammed it again then a young black dude came out screaming "You are hitting my car you are fvking crazy, you bitch" He did not call her racial slur though.  No one dared to block my driveway Chairman Mao eversince I had lived there for 2 years. And no one dared to fvck with me. I believe until today it has to be because of my look. And my aggressive attitude shows in my eyes.  If you try it, you will get it.  I am not scared of confrontation but I am scared of the fvking law because I dont' want to lose my job again.
