Vancouver and witness first-hand how stupid and clueless Canadians are. Basically, it is a knee-jerk reaction:  if a Chinese company wants to invest in or take over a Canadian company it is automatically bad. Ottawa approved the Chinese takeover of Norsat last year. That could have real strategic implications if push comes to shove. Yet the morons in Ottawa blocked the Aecon deal...mind you not even the US State Department cared about the Aecon deal. However considering how most democratic governments pander to the lowest common denominator I am not surprised.

The other thing I found most stupid and pathetic about Canada and Canadians is how they view Chinese Canadians. When Chinese Canadians succeed nationally or internationally, they are more than happy to point out these are CANADIAN success stories.  Then they turn around and look at you with suspicion and refer to you as “you Chinese.” And they wonder why people like me don’t feel I owe Canada anything or loyalty.
