Remember Canada is not the United States. Foreign students in US universities from China or India, even if their spoken English is not very good, often have much better English writing skills than native-born American students (don't even mention mathematics). Most younger Americans are very poorly educated and I wonder what will happen to the US once foreign "STEM mercenaries" stop coming.
