Indonesia may be able to be the shining light for the lower South East Asia.  Even though it has the largest muslim population, it is a secular state.  Can be seen as quite moderate.  Besides Sumara, it has little evidence of widespread Wahhabi brainwashing.  Unlike Malaysia.   I heard from friends, that investments are coming in droves to Indonesia due to new found confidence in Indonesia.  Property prices are appreciating at a fast pace.  

Now this happen.  Seems like they never learn.  This could be their last chance to prove that they are capable of belonging in the 21st century.  People may start looking at it as an archipelago full of natural resources and nothing else.
