My favourite old man Nixon story was during the final month of the Watergate crisis that engulfed the White House and American politics in general.

By then the scandal really had taken it toll on old man Nixon.

Nixon who drink. Nixon would get stone cold drunk.

Some say that at 11:00 AM, Nixon would be asleep in his chair in the oval office, with his head on his desk asleep, still drunk.

They said he drank so much, Nixon still in his suit and tie, would wander the White House in the middle of the night, and in his drunken state, talk the the previous presidents, whose portraits hung on the wall.

So here was President Nixon, leader of the free world, stoned drunk talking to George Washington hanging on the wall.

Doesn't seem the Trump administration is sort of like that already?

The only difference is that Trump's crisis, all seem to be self-inflicted. And he probably right now, Trump is less popular than Nixon, if that is even possible.

Could be.

Got to say one thing about Trump, he gives right wing thinking real hope, right wing economic, the boss, the landlord, you know the oppressors as they are known in some circles.

To go off tangent right now.

This is what I do not understand, why does not the mainstream media say anything about this.

First there is a giant tax cut for his friends. So the rich get richer. This is known a being a regressive tax cut.

Second, if there are tariffs imposed on imported goods from aboard, as Trump said he will do, the price of stuff goes up. The cost of living goes up. Guess who that hurts? Yes, it hurts the little guy, not the "oppressors", as they got their tax cut.

Lets not forget what is a tariff. A tariff is a tax. It is a tax on imported goods!

So guess who is paying that tax! A tariff will be regressive tax again.

How come everything has gone up at Wal-Mart, asks Joe Blow. Tell Joe Blow that a tariff is a regressive tax, and he will accuse you of being a communist or a Liberal. Joe Blow has no clue. Then again, neither does all the welfare recipients who voted Hillary.

Trump deserves credit that way. First he wins, promising regressive tax policies, then he delivers regressive taxes.

Equality, freedom, democracy, and regressive taxes.

This totally breaks the Liberal narrative social justice and progressive human government engineering. This gives the "oppressors" hope.
