Also, the economic savior that most Taiwanese people will turn towards is Japan. Not China. Colonialism (like in HK) really does fuk with the population, and I feel CKS lacked the foresight to weed motherfukers like Lee Teng Hui out.

As I've said before numerous times, it's high time the PRC hires Western PR firms and execute on strategies to begin shifting favor back to being PROUD of being Chinese, either ethnically or nationally. (Though yes, I realize this is probably much easier said to be actually done.) It sickens me that even almost 200 years, China is still very much under attack by foreign powers.
