The reason why China started all this aviation project is to save billions of dollars going to boeing and Airbus if China domestic airliner need to progress and boom in next few decade.

China aviation market expect to be the most lucrative in next 20years. And everybody know all China airliner are state controlled.

COMAC chairman already stated C919 initial delivery to customer need not EAA or FAA cert.

C919 is the game for China to lose. Russian super sukhoi sales are bleak becos it lack a ready market for its product.
