If we live or track the progress of society long enough, we will find that there are stages of behavior change as the society move ahead. Singapore and Malaysia were full of chinese thugs/triad members years ago while still under the british rule. Now you hardly see one because they are all busy counting money if they have the time after their hectic workdays. In fact 90% of the crime nowadays are committed by economically disadvantaged gruops from other part of Asia, and we believe as they grow economically they too will improve in that department.
