I can't see the PLA reorg battalion/battery/sqdrn numbers along with the new brigade structures at the same time. That would add too much chaos. There will be headaches enough as it is, they don't need more.

Initially, I don't see the PLA getting all new armour/helos to equip these new brigades. That would be cost prohibitive. What would be happenning in the mean time would be to use trucks as tempoary main battlefield transport. However, like all armies, tempoary has a way of becoming permenant.

What's more importantly is that I want to hear about the exercises that are going on. That would tell me alot more about how these brigades are supposed to perform.

I still have questions concerning Tibet and Xinjiang deployments. Those are large number deployements necessary to secure the hostile environment. The only thing I can think of eliminating them is to transfer them over to the PAP but would the PLA like losing the money that those Army Groups bring in?
