CZ-12 first stage uses four of the same YF-100K engine as the CZ-10, with 125 ton thrust each. Various models of YF-100 are used on CZ-5, CZ-6, CZ-7, CZ-8. Second stage uses two YK-115B engine with 18 ton thrust each. Payload to 200 km LEO 12 ton, 300 km LEO 10 ton, 700 km SSO 6 ton, It's the highest payload CZ rocket without booster. CZ-12 is developed for commercial launch, its maiden launch took place at Wenchang commercial launch site, which was damaged during the typhoon in Sep, one of the reason for CZ-12 launch delay.
