BTW Wukong also get four nomination in TGA including GOTY, to my surprise again. However TGA change the rule to allow DLC and remake to be nominated for GOTY this year, which many gamers think they should belong in a different category, smell desperate, DLC is not a full game, you can't play it standalone without the base game. Platformer Astobot, even poker games are nominated for GOTY, what a waste of slot for more worthy game contenders. Frankly I think TGA's nomination is quite bad compared to GJA, which include two remake BTW.

Have the DAV got a decent enough sales, it might just get nominated in TGA in place of BMWK, but its sales bombed so badly, go woke go broke so to speak.

A concurrent player count of 58,958 is good for an indie game with a tiny budget, but very very bad for a 3A game. Topping the sale chart for one day at launch is not enough for a 3A game, it need to top the chart for one month after launch. Yeah, top the chart. About a month ago, BMWK already top the steam sales chart for games of 2024, raking in $1 billion dollars. DAV won't be breaking even in a year, if ever.
