independently develop this capability. Given China's massive fleet sizes these days it seems almost unconscionable if they are NOT developing this capability or already had it on their newest ships; the need for target deconfliction increases exponentially as your fleet size grows. I have been hunting for these antennae for years but have seen nothing resembling the USN's cylindrical AN/USG-2/2A or the newer flat AESA version (the AN/USG-2B) on any of the PLAN's ships, except for possibly as I said the 003, which has plenty of small rectangular arrays which could be hiding a CEC array, and the latest 054B whose pair of tiny rectangular arrays sitting just underneath the main rotating AESA radar might be a CEC array. Even the newer 055 doesn't seem to have this; though it does have two small rectangular arrays embedded in the main mast facing each direction, I think both of those are communications arrays.
