This is a static test of the TL-3 first stage with 9 engines configuration.

The first stage with 9 engine produce a thrust of 840 ton. Nothing wrong with the first stage and engine, but something is wrong with the test site. The problem is the structure used to restraint the first stage is not strong enough. Either a miscalculation or corner has been cut. Not to mention the site location is bad if such accident took place.

The result is the TL-3 first stage took off.

The engine automatically shutdown on anomaly. Had it burnt for another 10-20 sec, it might just drop into the residential area.

The TL-3 first stage hit the ground and exploded about 4 km from residential area. Fortunately there is no casualty, otherwise the private space sector would be seriously setback by this accident,
